Mackinac Band member Tony Miron, artist and storyteller. Tony is the artist who designed the Mackinac Flag/Logo. A very entertaining personality. Tony's art work is renown for his distinctive style of pen, ink and pencil shading line art. we would recommend anyone who has the opportunity to hear Tony share his animated stories will be delighted and lifted up.

Running Water is in need of our help. A Hospice is being set up for her and her husband could use a little lift so he can spend time with her. Donations and back goods would be appreciated.

You will be able to order items we have using a paypal account. The membership application will be posted so you can print them off and mail them in. Spirit is moving us forward. I would like to WELCOME all the new members and people that are finding their way to this blogspot.  I will be adding new things every day if I can.  Tomorrow I will be working on getting a web page up and running for the tribe. You will be able to print off the membership app, order t-shirts, flags and other items we will have in the future. Protect The Wolf, a message by Silverfox Lopez at the Mackinac Bands Spring Gathering & Idle No More declaration. Speaking at the Fisherman's Memorial and holding the Eagle Staff. Silverfox made a passionate plea to stop the State Of Michigan politicians from circumventing the will of the people by not allowing a vote on this issue.

Though the day was bone chilling cold and windy the spirits of the Mack Bands people were strong and hearts were warm. They carried their flags and signs proudly to show support for the Protecting of our Great Lakes, To Save the Wolves and "Idle No More" movement's.
